We understand that you can’t try our items on before purchasing, and we want to keep returns to a minimum. For this reason, we provide detailed and accurate sizing information to help you choose the correct fit.
All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat. For items with elasticated waists, measurements are provided unstretched and fully stretched, and the recommended size range is shown. Where possible, we also photograph the actual measurements of each garment for added reassurance.
For tops and outerwear, we measure armpit to armpit, armpit to cuff, outside arm length (middle of neck to cuff), and overall length (nape of the neck to the bottom back hem). For Shirts we also measure the collar size.
For blazers and suit jackets, measurements include armpit to armpit, armpit to cuff, shoulder to shoulder, shoulder to cuff, and overall length (nape of the neck to the bottom back hem).
For bottoms, we measure the waist width (this measurement is doubled to give the full waist size), the inside leg, and the hem opening.
We strongly recommend measuring a garment you already own that fits well and comparing those measurements to the ones provided. Each product description also includes our assessment of the fit, such as regular, slim, classic, loose or relaxed, or oversized.
Some brands run smaller or larger than standard sizing, so where possible we provide brand-specific sizing information, upload official brand size charts, and explain how each brand typically fits.
If an item does not have a size label, we determine the size using the garment’s measurements, brand sizing information, and our experience with previous items from the same brand.
